China industry regulator: Digital economy, modern industrial system top focus in 2023
China will unveil measures to ensure growth in pillar industries in 2023 and take the number of technologically advanced companies beyond 80,000, a top government official said on Wednesday. Jin Zhuanglong, minister of Industry and Information Technology said technology innovation will be the key for China to achieve these goals. China will also see greater collaboration between the digital and real economy and move towards an increasingly modernized industrial system, Jin said.
